Not...really..sure what category to put these under... It feels like it's been a while since I've hit the "Submit Deviation" button (on purpose)
These have been my latest project for the past... month? I'm fairly proud of them! I think it's pretty neat for my first ever painted custom shoes! L took several weeks to paint because I only worked on him for an hour at night, every once in a while... Light was quicker to finish, cuz he was the second shoe . Aw, darn I was going to have you guys guess who I painted first! I haven't FINISHED them though, so I can't wear them yet. They're not waterproof... I have Liquitex Flexible Gloss Varnish for it. It'll work good right? The paint'll still probably crack, though, won't it?  I brought them to school, and my classmates were amazed. They told me they'd totally pay me to paint their shoes, which makes me excited and flattered. >w< I think I'll open up for business next school year! *edit: haha, i didn't... yet? lol. Well anyway, I wore them once, and they were pretty uncomfortable. DON"T paint the whole shoe.  you'll suffocate your feet.... Anyway, I'd really love to read comments, tips, anything on this! Thank you! |

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. oh i bought a pair of high-top converse with embroidered flowers. i was scared that the threads would get damamged so...
you can just pick up ((oh what's it called??)) well you can pick it up at FootLocker and it's a spray with a blue cap (very helpful -__-")
and it protects the shoes with a couple sprays and a few layers every 30 minutes or so
i'm not sure if it'll work with paint but i think it should because if it works with thread and totally sensitive material of my shoes (i was so scared wearing them to school! so many dirty puddle and RED dirt >D< that stuff KILLS shoes!!)
